Utah AIDS Foundation
Background
The Utah AIDS Foundation has been providing critical health services and education for the LGBTQ+ community (and beyond) for over 35 years. Their current brand unfortunately does not evoke the authority, reliability nor heart this institution has. With an old, uninspiring logo and the barest bones to what could be an identity and website, I sought to bring life back into the brand and revisit their online presence. Solutions
The new speculative UAIDSF branding works off a contemporary color palette and a logo referencing the iconic red AIDS ribbon composed in the shape of the state. Paired with these are simple but effective graphic devices that even a small-but-mighty 501c organization team could employ; including a layering composition system, radiant lines and warm gradients. For their web presence, I reorganized the site structure to focus on increasing donations and brand awareness while reducing the burnout searching for education and critical resources in a convoluded sitemap.PROJECT TYPE
